Companies and worksites
A company is the top-level container in Tero.Ops. It owns one or more worksites. Most users belong to a single worksite within a single company; fleet managers and procurement officers often have access to multiple worksites under one company.
The company list
Open Company admin → Companies in the sidebar.

You’ll see every company you have admin access to.
Creating a worksite
Open a company, click New worksite. Or from anywhere, use Company admin → Worksites → New.

Fields:
- Worksite name — vessel name, site name
- Identifier — short code (e.g. IMO number, internal ID)
- Worksite type — Vessel / Site / Office / etc.
- Job prefix — the prefix on auto-generated job numbers (e.g.
ENG-) - Order prefix — the prefix on auto-generated PO numbers (e.g.
PO-)
Worksite settings
After creation, open the worksite and click Settings for further configuration:
- Default currency for POs
- Timezone for all timestamps shown to users at this site
- Disable order creation — useful for offline-only fishing vessels where POs are raised from shore
- Bulk QR export — generate QR PDFs for all assets at once

Linking users to worksites
A worksite is empty until you invite users into it. See Adding users and assigning roles for the invite flow.
