Frequently asked questions

Account & login

I didn’t receive my verification code. Depending on how your account is set up, the code comes by email, by SMS, or from your authenticator app. Check your spam folder first. If it’s not there, click Resend code on the login screen. If still nothing after a minute, contact your administrator — your email may not be on file. See Logging in.

The code says expired. You’re taken back to the email screen. Click Login to get a new code.

I typed the wrong code twice. You get two attempts per code. After the second wrong one, you’re taken back to the email screen — click Login to get a new code.

Can I use a password instead of magic-link? No. Tero.Ops is passwordless by design — there’s nothing to leak or forget.

I work for more than one company. Do I need two accounts? No. One account can belong to several companies. Once you’re in more than one, a company dropdown appears in the top-right corner of each page, next to the worksite dropdown — use it to switch between them.

Connection

Does Tero work offline? No. Tero.Ops needs a live connection to its server — changes are not queued on the device for later upload. See Connection requirements.

What happens if the connection drops? The app covers the screen with “Connection lost — Reconnecting to server…” and waits. Anything already saved is safe, and anything you’d typed into a form is still there when the message goes away — just don’t reload the page while it’s showing. The app reconnects on its own.

On phones and tablets

Is there a mobile app? There’s no app-store app. Tero.Ops runs in the browser on phones and tablets as well as computers.

Data import / migration

We have years of data in spreadsheets. Can we get it in? Talk to us at tero@tero.is and we’ll go through what you have and what moving it across involves.

Pricing and billing

How is Tero priced, and who do I talk to about an invoice? Contact tero@tero.is for pricing and anything to do with billing.
