Browsing assets

There are three ways to find an asset: a flat list, a hierarchical tree, or search. Pick the one that matches how you’re thinking about the work.

The asset list view

Operations → Assets opens the list view by default — a flat grid of every asset in the current worksite. Each row shows the asset name, parent, type, location, and last-maintained date.

Click any column header to sort. Use the filter bar to narrow by type, location, or category.

The tree view

Click the tree-view toggle in the top right. The same assets re-render as a hierarchy you can expand and collapse.

Asset tree view

Useful when you want to drill from a vessel down to a specific sub-component, or to understand how things are organised on a new site.

Tap the search bar at the top of the page or press ⌘K / Ctrl+K anywhere. Type any of:

  • Asset name
  • Asset number
  • Manufacturer
  • Model
  • Serial number

Matching assets appear instantly.

Saving filters

If you find yourself filtering the same way every time (e.g. “all pumps in the engine room”), save the filter as a preset from the filter bar. Presets show up next to the filter button so they’re one-click to apply.
