Creating a one-time job
Use a one-time job for work that won’t repeat — a custom modification, a one-off repair, a special inspection.
Opening the new-job form
From any asset’s detail page, click Schedule job. Or from the maintenance section, click New job and pick the asset.

The form is divided into sections:
- Job information
- Assignment details
- Occurrence schedule
- Required parts (optional)
Job information
- Title — short summary (“Service main engine — 500-hour”)
- Description — full context, what to do, what to look for
- Categories — optional tags (e.g. “Engine room”, “Safety”)
- Estimated time — hours the tech should plan for
Asset picker
Click the asset field to open the picker. Search by name or number, or browse the tree.

Assignment
- Assigned to — the technician responsible
- Priority — High / Medium / Low

Schedule
For a one-time job, set Recurrence trigger to One off and pick a Due date.

Required parts

Saving
Click Schedule job. The job appears in the assignee’s My Tasks and is added to the asset’s maintenance history once completed.
