Receiving stock

When stock arrives, you record receipt against the PO. Tero handles full deliveries, partial deliveries, and deliveries to a different worksite than the one the PO was raised at (common when a fishing vessel collects parts at a different port).

Receiving a full delivery

Open the PO and click Receive items.

Each item is listed with its ordered quantity. Click Receive all to fill every quantity with the ordered amount, or enter quantities manually. Set the received date (default: today).

Click Save. Stock levels at the receiving worksite increase; the PO status flips to Received if everything was delivered.

Partial deliveries

Fishing vessel POs often ship across several ports — half the parts to Port A, the rest to Port B two weeks later.

When you receive a partial delivery, only enter quantities for the items that arrived. Leave the rest at 0.

The PO status flips to Partially received. The remaining items stay on the PO, waiting for the next delivery against the same order.

You can receive against the PO as many times as needed.

Receiving at a different port

If the delivery comes to a different worksite than where the PO was raised, click Change worksite on the receive form before saving.

This adjusts stock at the actual receiving worksite, not the original one. The PO record remembers exactly where each item ended up.

Linking received parts to an open job

If the part is for a specific job that’s been waiting on stock, click Link to job in the receipt confirmation. The job moves from “waiting on parts” to “ready to start” automatically, and the assigned technician is notified.
