Notifications
Tero notifies you when something happens that affects you — a new job assignment, a comment mentioning you, an approval needed, a part on its way.
The notifications bell
In the top bar there’s a bell icon. A red dot means you have unread notifications.

Click the bell to open the panel.
The notifications panel
The panel shows the most recent events. Each row links to the entity (job, request, project) so one click takes you there.

Click Mark all read to clear unread state without opening each one.
What you get notified about
By default, Tero notifies you when:
- A new job is assigned to you
- A comment on a job/request you’re on mentions you
- A request you submitted changes status
- An order you raised is approved, shipped, or received
- A meter reading triggers a job
- Your permissions or worksite memberships change
In-app vs email
Some notifications arrive in the app only; others also send an email. By default critical events (overdue tasks, permission changes) email you too.
Configuring what you receive
Open Profile → Settings → Notifications. Toggle each event type for in-app, email, or both. The setting “Notify me when my permissions change” is on by default — recommended to leave it on.
