Announcements

Announcements let admins broadcast information to users — system maintenance, policy changes, new features, recognition. They appear in-app and (optionally) by email.

Writing an announcement

Open Company admin → Announcements → New announcement.

Fields:

• Title — appears as the headline in the in-app banner
• Body — supports basic formatting (bold, italics, links)
• Severity — Info / Warning / Critical (changes the visual style)
• Show until — auto-dismisses on this date

Choosing the audience

Click the Audience picker.

Pick from:

• All users in the company
• A specific worksite
• A specific role (e.g. all technicians)
• A custom list of users

If you select Critical severity, the announcement appears as a modal that users must dismiss; lower severities sit in a banner at the top of the page.

Scheduling and history

Announcements can be:

• Sent immediately — live the moment you click Send
• Scheduled — pick a date/time to go live (useful for “maintenance window starts at 02:00 UTC tonight”)

After sending, see all past announcements under the History tab. From there you can view who has dismissed each one and resend if needed.
