Doing an inspection
Inspections are structured checklists run against an asset. Crew step through items, mark each pass or fail, optionally add photos and notes, and submit. Failures become follow-up tasks automatically.
Starting an inspection
From the asset page or your assigned tasks, find the inspection and tap Start Task.

The inspection opens to the first checklist item.
Pass / Fail per item
Each item is a single line with two buttons. Tap Pass if everything’s fine, or Fail if not.

On a Fail you can add a note describing the deficiency.
Adding photos
Tap the camera icon to take or upload a photo per item. Photos are auto-timestamped and attached to the inspection record.

Flagging deficiencies
Any Fail automatically creates a follow-up task linked to the asset. The task lands in the maintenance supervisor’s queue for triage. You don’t need to raise a separate work request.
Submitting
When every item is marked, tap Submit. The inspection becomes a permanent record on the asset’s history.

Audit value
Every inspection becomes a permanent, dated record on the asset. Submitted records can’t be edited — only annotated with follow-up comments — so they hold up as audit evidence.
